Paula’s favorite moments in teaching are when students have musical “AHA!” moments and they become emboldened to play more passionately. It is her goal to create magical musical moments at every lesson.
She holds a Masters Degree in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Denver, a Bachelor of Science in Music from Valley City State University and an Associates of Fine Arts from Casper College and has run her own private piano studio since 1988. She has received several merits and honors over the years, but being recognized by the Wyoming Music Educators Association with a Meritorious Service Award in 2001 was a highlight for her.
Paula has worked as a collaborative pianist for Casper College and Converse County School District #2, been the cantor and organist for St. Louis Parish, and performed for many weddings and funerals in the region.
She is a wife, mother to three sons, and grandmother to two precious granddaughters.
